Clan: Takio
Personal history: Severnce lived the first year and a half alive with his clan on a small island near Kirigakure. The Takio clan had separated themselves from the great warring villages by becoming the protectors of a secluded island. However the location of the island lead to the unfortunate conquest of the Island at the hands of Kirigakure. With a fighting force consisting of little more than 20, the Takio clan stood little chance. During the battle Oberon, Severnce's father flee'd and returned to his son. Uncertain of his future, Oberon made a choice. He rushed to his son and wife at their hut. He arrived and wasted no time, in an adrenaline fueled craze he approached his son ad began inscribing a complex fuuinjutsu formula on him with his blood. After a minute the room had flooded momentarily with oberon's neon green chakra, and the clans staff had disappeared. It was then that Severnce's mother understood. Oberon spoke before she could form a question. "Take him and flee, the enemy will have noticed my chakra just now. I'll stay and give you time, stay strong." Oberon flashed one last smile to his wife before retrieving a Katina that hung on the wall of their bedroom and charged to his final battle. In the same instant Severnce's mother retrieved her child and ran for the cover of the nearby forest. The effort would prove futile as no more than two minutes into her retreat a shinobi intercepted her. A female voice filled the air "going somewhere?." Her answer was filled with desperation, "Please do as you will with me just spare my son!" Under most circumstances this plea would have been wasted, but by shear luck the mist shinobi was mother herself. "I'll grant your wish. However you shall die today and in return i shall see to that your son is raised a mist shinobi for your cooperation." Severnce's mother nearly choked on the response but agreed in the end, with a final kiss she handed her child over and dropped to her knees stifling the tears building up in her eyes. with one arm the shinobi held the child in a manner that would shield it's vision, and with the other she drew a katana and beheaded the woman.
Severnce was given to a Kirigakure based organization that raised war orphans to be shinobi after that. It would be many years till he discovered the truth of his bloody past, and as a result took his village as a point of pride growing up. A week before he was to join the academy something inexplicable happened Severnce was training on his own when suddenly a bright green flash erupted from his left arm. Regaining his wits he found a staff emanating a bright green chakra that felt somehow familiar. Severnce had no clue what happened, but something told him the staff was his. From that point on he and the staff were inseparable.
It wasn't hard for severnce to excel in the academy, in fact chakra control seamed to just come natural to him. Being an orphan he sought a family in the team that he inherited, and over time succeeded. By the time they made chunin the trio had become nearly inseparable, and also developed quite a name for themselves. For two years the three surpassed all expectations, even completing A and S ranked missions at a chunin level. As the whole village expected, the three were soon promoted. The promotion would mark a new chapter in their lives, but that chapter would redefine the group. On their first mission as jounin they were dispatched to deal with a group of leaf shinobi lurking near Kirigakure. Upon intercepting them his teammates rushed head on at the two konoha nin only to find an ambush. Severnce counted four on each side, and also determined that the two used as bait where most likely the most experienced among them. Without hesitation he formed a plan, "Ryuza, Fei hold off the eight subordinates closing in until i can take care of the two Jounin." Almost instantaneously after he finished his squad was back to back in the center of the eight man ambush, and then he sprang at his targets. His opponents wasted no time in their response as soon as he was within a few yards of them, they were on either side of him launching three kunai a piece. It was obvious these two had spent many years working together, but Severnce was far from shaken. Forming a single one handed seal his staff started emanating a light green chakra, and then he slammed the tip down on the ground and spun all the way around creating a 8 foot high rock wall that easily blocking the projectiles and then with another crack of his staff the rock wall exploded into rock spikes flying in all directions. The display was impressive yet far from ending the skirmish. In fact the battle was quite even. That is until Severnce realized once again that this wasn't just his battle. As he repelled one of the jounin he was snapped into despair. "Fei!" Ryuza's voice shrieked. A glance would reveal not only his fallen comrade, but his other teammate dropping his guard just long enough to be slain. Severnce's blood boiled as the competition ended. He wanted one thing, blood, and no would walk away from this place.
His opponents encircled him now as he focused his chakra into his staff, perfect he'd end it here. Severnce raised Taiyin-Tak above his head and fountains of neon green chakra cascaded to the ground in a spiral around him. The Leaf shinobi lunged at him only to find they were too late, as a geyser of water at least three feet in diameter had propelled Severnce 15 feet in the air. The torrent remained continuous until the shinobi where within a yard of the stream and with a rap of his staff Severnce made a typhoon of water blades of it. His opponents were mangled, and he exhausted. He trudged a few steps towards Kirigakure only to collapse. Luckily his geyser had caught Kirigakure scout's attention, and the village found the scene with ease when a secondary squad was sent to find the MIA first squad.
Severnce had changed significantly changed since the loss his makeshift family, loosing much of the enjoyment he sought in the competitiveness of his task. He rather continued as war machine for two years, seeking only the fulfillment of completion. However one day he came across one of the major investors in the war orphanage program that raised him. After a little interrogative conversation he discovered the true purpose of the organization was to raise orphans they created into future soldiers. He also managed to find out that there was a raid on a nearby island around the time he joined the orphanage. There was no doubt in severnce's mind he'd be visiting it. indeed not only had his existence in Kirigakure grown mundane, but his very desire to remain had been consistently called into question. He knew that this island could very well finalize his decision, and so he went without a word to anyone in Kirigakure. When he arrived he was immediately greeted by one of the older surviving villagers. It was this villager that would tell him of his clan, and his father who once wielded his staff. The villager told him much about himself he longed to know, and of course he told of the morbid tale of the village's raid.
From this point little is known about Severnce's actions and whereabouts. The only thing that was certain was that Severnce had turned his back on Kirigakure never to return again.

Bloodline: Elemental Affinity- Many generations ago a shinobi named Euphemia Takio paved the way for the Takio's rise to glory. Euphemia had been born with the fabled Rinnegan, and through exploration of her gift she grew powerful enough to create a name for herself and her clan. Unfortunately the Rinnegan has not appeared since, however all of Euphimia's direct decedents display uncanny levels of chakra control and elemental diversity. As a result the Takio became known as the 5 path clan, due to the fact that all Takio clan members display aptitude for at least 5 elements by adulthood.
Weapons:
Special weapon:
Name: Taiyin-Tak
Description: The Taiyin-Tak is a formidable staff designed by Euphemia's Grandson Nadrouj. The staff was inscribed with several Fuuinjutsu formula that are designed to synchronize with the Takio's unique clan abilities. Taiyin-Tak is 3'6" and the inscriptions glow a bright green when the staff's fuuinjutsu are active.
Abilities: The Taiyin-Tak was designed to allow it's wielder further mastery of any elements they are adept in. Although there are three different Fuuinjutsu formula inscribed on it, all of it's abilities are somehow linked to Elemental chakra control. It's rumored that the one who wields it is subjected to intense chakra drain, but there's been no confirmation of this as Taiyin-Tak's wielders have all been very protective about the source of their power.
