Hey! Look! It's another one of my annoying threads wherein I continually pester folks about their interest, especially on good subjects like anime, manga, and video games because honestly, what else is there in life? Phahaha! *sobs*
So, I suppose here's the question that remains:
What do you personally enjoy? MMORPG? FPS? Adventure? Puzzles? What's currently the latest thing on your mind since you picked up that controller or clicked away hours upon hours of senseless fun? Do you like video games out of nostalgia? Are you competitive?
Lately, I've been finally taking the time to play a few of 3DS games I bought last year around November or December because, well, I don't play them at all. Seriously. I purchased two respectable copies of Pokemon: ORAS on the day of its release and I still haven't got to the first Gym Leader. In fact, I'm still shuffling through tall grass for reasons I unknown to me... Maybe I just like grass or listening to the music. Dunno. I guess another game I'm thoroughly enjoying is Mario & Luigi: Dream Team - love how the Bros. babble in Italian during some choice dialogue.
Again, what about you?

I enjoy playing racing games, whether it's Mario Kart, Forza, iRacing, I'll play them all, I don't care if it's Barbies Daytona 500 Adventure I'll play the fuck out of it.
I guess I can say I play a lot of FPS, but the only two I play are TF2 and Garry's Mod.

I enjoy most every genre of video games. The only exceptions are games where everything is micro-transactions and music/dance games (there has never been one that I've liked, thus far).
For the past few years, the only console that I've owned has been a GameCube, because my PS3 died and I never had the spare change to buy a new console. As of late, I've been playing Pokémon emerald and enjoying the nostalgia that comes with it.
