[Traits]
The Senju clan posses a few unifying traits such as: Their hair tends to vary in shades of brown and black. The hue of their eyes tend to be hazel to green, and they have a natural aroma resembling tree's and the outdoors. Senju clan members also generally dawn traditional samurai armor to show their lineage and ancestory. Though it is not required most, Senju members often wear the clan symbol somewhere on their person. Some of the elder members are even found wearing cloth patterned with flames, symbolic of the Will of Fire.

Senju clan members, thanks to the gift of their strong bodies, always have at least 2 higher stamina than average for their rank.
All Senju clan members are born with the primary element Mokuton [Wood Release]. For additional elements as a clan member grows they may learn to master Suiton [Water Release] or Doton [Earth Release].

Mokuton
Mokuton [Wood Release] is a unique and powerful elemental affinity absolutely exclusive to the Senju clan and said to be a gift from the first shinobi. By mixing their natural affinities for Doton [Earth Release] and Suiton [Water Release] the clan is able to create strong, durable, living wood. The unparalleled utility and uses of Mokuton can range from houses to trees to even entire forests of wood. Because of their nature, unlike their parent elements, Mokuton [Wood Release] is weak to Katon [Fire Release] and strong against Suiton [Water Release]. Mokuton created wood and trees carries small traces of circulating chakra.
[History]
Considered to be the one of the oldest clans in the shinobi world, the Senju clan is said to be directly descended from the first shinobi's younger son. The Senju clan was considered to be the strongest clan in the ninja world during the war-torn era before the founding of the hidden villages. This strength and natural ability lead to gaining the nickname, and ultimately clan name, Senju. (Senju literally meaning thousand-handed or of a thousand skills.) The Senju clan are one of two direct founders of the first hidden village, Konohagakure no Sato, and thus tend to carry a large amount of pride towards the village.
Legend states that the founder of Konoha, using his Senju bloodline ability, created the fertile forests of that guard over Konoha personally. The clan almost died out several times in its history, but has proven itself a resilient one. The Senju also brought the Will of Fire into the creation of Konohagakure, and utilizing their will, heavy skill Mokuton techniques, and a large chakra reserve by birth, the Senju have long safeguarded Konoha with extreme loyalty.
