Traits: Members of the Aburame clan usually have black or brown hair and tend to have lighter shades of skin due to their typical choice of clothing; baggy and in layers that covers almost all of their skin. Clan members are never seen without some kind of tinted glasses.

Kikaichū
The Aburame’s one and only companion, meaning they can have no other summons or pets. These small bugs are known as the Kikaichū, the Parasitic Destruction Insects. These insects are housed within the members of the Aburame from birth, allowed to nest and feed off the clan members chakra. In return, the host receives the ability to control the bugs, and because the bugs are constantly eating away at the host’s chakra, become the Aburame’s primary fighting technique. There are a few rules regarding the use of the Kikaichū:
Due to their Kikaichū constantly feeding on the hosts chakra, Aburame must dedicated half of their stamina to Aburame Jutsu. The other half is used for whatever they wish, including ninjutsu and genjutsu.
As with the shinobi they are housed in, Kikaichū are also ranked. Certain shinobi ranks can only wield certain Kikaichū ranks at start up.

Kikaichū are known to, on occasion, undergo mutation that give the bugs a unique set of abilities. These mutated species still bare the same structural quality as the original Kikaichū with some possible minor changes. These mutated Kikaichū have certain rules applied to their creation:
The abilities must have some form of relationship with the original Kikaichū. They cannot be an entirely different type of bug.
Mutated Kikaichū cannot be gained on start up.
Genin are incapable of having Mutated Kikaichū
Mutated Kikaichū rank up the same as the regular Kikaichū.

At birth, all Aburame are turned into host for a rather dangerous bug. These bugs, or Kikaichū, feed on the Aburame's chakra and offer their strength in exchange. Because of this, the host has the ability to use their bugs to drain others of their chakra.

History: The Aburame clan is one of the most prestigious in Konoha, using their ability to command chakra consuming insects known as Kikaichu beetles at will they have also become one of the most powerful. It is rumored that the Aburame gained this ability through the original Kikaichu beetle user who discovered the ability to gain control of the insects by offering his own chakra to them. This discovery was passed down from generation to generation and ultimately led to the rise of the Aburame clan.
In Konoha history the Aburame clan has played several major roles. Due to their unique ability to control insects at will their skills in tracking and espionage are second to none, when it comes to stealth few are better fitted for the job.
Their most famous historical moment in Konoha history, however, was during Iwa's attempt at destroying Konoha hundreds of years ago. The Kamizuru clan, a clan that also had the ability to manipulate insects (bees specifically), took the forefront of the invasion force. Before they could reach Konoha the Aburame clan intercepted them and ultimately fought them off. Thousands died in the fighting and the Kamizuru clan was nearly wiped out of existence. The Aburame clan's heroic efforts during this battle played a key role in Konoha's overall victory.
