Given the mission scroll, the young Genin would be pointed in the direction of the store in question: "Nau's Steel and Storage". The shop was at the end of a broad street, linking with only one alleyway that presumably allowed for transport between warehouse (where materials were stored) and the shop itself. The building, small and unadorned barely looked functional. Around the store lay some other, more successful looking stores, a textile merchant to the left, and a produce market to the left. The options were simple: explore the area around the store, discuss the plight of the store owner with his neighbors, or with the manager, Kima, Nau himself.

Keisan took a deep breath and sat down on a bench nearby the raikage's office. The genin could hardly contain his excitement after receiving his first official mission, and he knew that rushing ahead in his current state could only spell disaster. Get a grip this is your chance to set the tone for your entire shinobi career! Taking a drawn out breath, Keisan centered himself and withdrew the mission scroll tucked inside his kimono. After a brief pause to study the contents of the scroll, he briefly meditated over the task that lay ahead. First he'd have to stop of at his moms and leave his purple kimono. After all even though he'd be losing most of his regular combat gear, this was a covert mission and there was nothing covert about a purple and gold kimono. Besides he'd hopefully avoid contact and thus combat so he need not worry about disarming himself. Second he'd have to traverse by rooftop from his mothers, being that the presence of a ninja would likely spook the would be rouge merchant. Finally he would have to observe anyone that came in contact with the building or merchant, as the merchant may have a system of delivery that could be easy to miss to avoid discovery. Alright lets do this! Leaving his mothers house Keisan now doned his all black underclothes, Two 2' wakizashi, a pair of gloves with senbon attached at the pinky and ring knuckles, five flash bombs, five smoke bombs, and four kunai. With ease the genin jumped up to the roof and formed handsigns and With ease the genin jumped up to the roof and formed handsigns.
Name: Wind release: wind skates Rank: D Range: Self Type: Supplementary Description: Keisan created this technique in an attempt to copy the Raikage's Wind Seal Release: Lightened Step. After performing the needed hand seals, the user is able to glide on air as if they were skating on ice. This allows them to move slightly faster and quieter. This doesn't allow them to fly, but rather to travel over things like land, water, and ice with greater ease. The user is only held several inches off of the ground. This Jutsu does not expire until the user’s chakra supply runs out or the user shuts it off. The user suffers a D rank chakra drain per post active.
Keisan was now suspended a few inches off the ground, which would allow him to move without fear of making noise with a fatal misstep. Feeling prepared the genin glided along the rooftops sticking to the most covered routes possible to avoid unnecessary attention soon he was he was no farther than a quarter mile south from his target and paused taking cover behind a large sign that advertised a ramen shop. Alright easy now can't make any mistakes this close to the shop. Taking his time Keisan took in all he could about his surroundings before deciding on his next move.

"I'm telling you Shi, they are spooked.. someone either ratted us out or you're getting sloppy." The brash male voice broke the silence harshly, and even though Keisan was a decent amount away, he heard it clear as a bell. "I am not sticking my neck out for anyone to chop my goddamned head off, you hear me!?" Peering down, the young ninja would behold two men standing in the doorway of the shop, one yelling rather loudly, the other trying to shush him. The second voice probably belonged to Shi, as he was named by the rather angry fellow speaking. Shi's voice did not carry, and thus Keisan heard nothing from the second man- though upon investigation it would seem he was very nervous.
The owner of the brash voice looked exactly like his voice suggested: rugged, dirty.. musclebound.. a thug in all respects. It was a safe assumption the man couldn't read. His clothes were stretched to their breaking point across his well toned body, however this made him seem grotesque, not attractive. He had dirty, scraggly black hair, and he swayed back and forth a bit, suggesting a measure of drunkenness. After jabbing a finger into the chest of Shi, the silent man threateningly, he stalked off, kicking an abandoned wooden box into a wall as he passed below where Keisan was watching. The rugged man strode purposefully toward town. Shi, after a pause, darted back into the shop. Decisions, decisions. What would the Genin do?

Keisan watched the thug trail off and wondered if he should follow, but as the thug smashed a box underneath the genin decided the other man was more likely to lead to concrete evidence. It was decided he waited for Sai to to glance in the opposite direction and took the brief opportunity to leap into an alley between the shop he was on top of and the neighboring one. Thanks to his wind skates he landed almost noislessly. Keisan then performed a few hand seals Keisan altered his appearance completely. Keisan now had the body of a lower class village woman in her mid forties wearing a simple white kimono. As he walked in the direction of the merchant he discreetly plucked another hair and imbued it with chakra. Closing in on Shi the disguised genin convincingly pleaded with the merchant, "Please sir you have to help me, a man stole my coin purse and now i have no means to feed my children. do you think you could spare but a simple meal so my children don't starve?" As he said that he placed one hand on the merchants shoulder in a pleading matter, using the diversion to plant his hair. Name:transformation technique Rank: d Range: self Type: Supplementary Description:After completing the needed handseals, the user of this technique will be able to alter their physical appearance to match that of another person. By consistently emitting chakra throughout their body, the user is able to keep their appearance adjusted at the cost of their stamina draining over time. As this technique is quite strenuous to uphold, experienced shinobi may see more clearly through this delusive disguise. This technique can last until the user runs out chakra or the technique is canceled. This technique drains a d rank equivalent of chakra per post active.
Name:Tracking device Rank: d Range: one mile Type:supplementary Description:The most basic tracking technique available, Tracking Device requires the user to first imbue a strand of their own hair with chakra. Once this has been done, s/he will place it on their target. The user can track the general location of the strand of hair as long as it remains within a mile of where s/he is currently. Otherwise, the chakra will dissipate at the end of six (6) posts

"Get away from me, woman! I've no time for this!" The planting of the hair was successful, and in getting close to the man, a bulky bundle wrapped in a large sheet became noticeable. It was apparent that the bundle was not weapons at all, it was bulky and not uniform- strangely awkward and misshapen. Picking up the bundle the the man quickly pushed by and hurried down the street. As of right now, the shopkeeper was headed in another direction than the thug, and the the thug was rapidly disappearing from sight.

"Get away from me, woman! I've no time for this!"
Keisan stood motionless wearing an expression of shock and desperation, He bought it now to investigate this shop. As the man faded from view keisan darted purposefully to the locked shop door while retrieving his right senbon glove. Understanding that the art of the shinobi encompassed far more than just killing, keisan often made his tools effective for multiple uses. For example his senbon gloves where not only a means of delivering poison but the placement of the two senbon on each glove was also spaced perfectly for picking locks. Having practiced the art of lock picking the door was open within 25 seconds. Stepping into the shop, he closed and locked the door. Assuming his original form Keisan took in all he could, looking for anything that may contain transaction receipts or even personal letters.

For a trained shinobi, picking locks and entering an unguarded shop shouldn't be difficult. For this young man, whose luck seemed to be at an all time high, it was easier than expected. He would note not all locks were done, not all defense measures in place- this shop being where it was it would have stood to reason that the owner would have taken much better care of it in his absence.
Upon entering the dwelling, Keisan would first note an abrasive, chemical smell in the air. It seemed to radiate from everywhere, a cloud of vaguely familiar stink that washed every part of the building. As if to go along with the previous realization, Keisan would notice the shop was far from empty, but seemed to be lacking in something important. All personal effects had been hastily removed, and even the small bits that remained seemed imperfect, not worth taking at all. Again to the trained eye, the shop had been picked clean.
That must have been the burden the shopkeeper carried.
Further investigation into building would reveal no letters, personal correspondence, or money within the building. The windows were locked from the inside, the only point of escape was the front door, and perhaps attic, depending on how long the young shinobi would comb the place.
After a few moments, Keisan heard shuffling footsteps and muffled voices outside of the shop. It sounded like some men.. no more than 8 no less than 3 were outside. What was the meaning of this?

Keisan quickly saw that the shop that the shop was void the ussual signs of inhabitance, and to make matters worse a pungent smell eminated from everything inside the shop. Could it be a trap? As if in confirmation he then heard a group of voices approaching. He knew he had little time so he decided to take cover, hastily he ran for the stairway to the attic while retrieving a smoke bomb from a pouch on his hip.

"Hurry up- he said he'd made all the preparations. If someone is on to us, we'll have to destroy any evidence.." Light flickered as men passed the front windows of the store, armed with what appeared to be torches. Keisan's mind would snap together a few small puzzle pieces that had been floating about. The shop-keeper runing with a bundle- the acrid smell in the shop that seemed to have soaked itself throughout the entire building, the lack of valuables and of evidence.
This place was going to burn.
Was it the thugs who'd pushed it this far? Was the keeper trying to escape? What purpose would burning the entire shop (there was enough fuel here to reduce this entire lot to smoldering ashes) to nothing achieve? The ninja would have a lot to think about after he escaped.
Looking around the attic Keisan would see a rather thrashed room. Random papers were scattered about, drawers were pulled completely out in random stacks, and objects were scattered everywhere. Upon examining the roof, he would also notice a small opening that'd allow roof access. Due to the tracking device, Keisan would also notice the shops owner was approximately a half mile north of his current position.
